A fun challenge took place at Gongshu Canal Sports Park in Hangzhou on April 22, local media outlets reported.

The venue was full of Hangzhou cultural elements, especially the eye-catching digital version of West Lake Clear and Serene Painting that surrounded the venue. The simple and elegant painting, with its appropriately thick and thin brushstrokes, added a charming touch to the entire venue.

The West Lake Clear and Serene Painting is a nearly 16-meter-long scroll that depicts Hangzhou's West Lake over 800 years ago. It starts at Qiantang Gate and goes clockwise around West Lake before returning to Qiantang Gate, depicting the panoramic view of the Southern Song Dynasty's (1127-1279) West Lake.

Inside the venue, 19 teams marched in with well-aligned steps, full of energy, and chanting slogans, marking the official start of the indoor fun challenge competition.

During the competition, they integrated cultural elements, such as reading, the Asian Games, sports, and Song Dynasty (960-1279) culture, into fun activities and quizzes that were both educational and fun.

The 20 dragon boats placed in the competitive area attracted great attention. Behind the dragon boats were the surging waves of the Qiantang River, demonstrating the spirit of standing at the forefront of the times and being constantly rejuvenated.

On the opposite side of the "Dragon Boat Race" area was the cuju competition area, where a pseudo-classic building instantly transported people back to the Southern Song Dynasty.

The building was a replica of popular Hangzhou tourist destination, the Deshou Palace, which was an important palace garden within the city of Lin'an during the Southern Song Dynasty and was one of the highest-ranking buildings of the era.
