On the autumn equinox, which falls on Sept 23 this year, the Asian Games torch will be lit by the Qiantang River. Following Beijing and Guangzhou, Hangzhou will become the third city in China to host the Asian Games.

To welcome this momentous occasion, the Hangzhou Asian Games organizing committee has launched a nationwide "Ten-City Asian Games Tour" media and cultural promotion campaign, reporting on the progress of the Games' preparation and traveling to nine different cities, including Shanghai, Xi'an, Tianjin, Wuhan, Chengdu, Xiamen, Nanjing, Guangzhou, and Zhuhai.

On April 27, the tour will head to its final stop in Beijing, the world's only city that has held both the summer and winter Olympic Games.

The event in Beijing aims to echo the spirit of the Winter Olympics and Asian Games and will integrate three major brand activities: "Asian Games Talk," "Asian Games Up," and "Asian Games Music."

"Asian Games Talk" will take place at the Beijing Sport University where world champions and sports players will discuss opportunities and challenges to improve Beijing students' understanding of the Asian Games.

"Asian Games Up" will invite nearly 1,000 Beijing citizens to run through classic sports landmarks and help people relive the excitement of Chinese sports.

"Asian Games Music" will be held at the Olympic Park Square, where many reknowned musicians and singers will perform different styles of musical works for the Hangzhou Asian Games.
