The 5th China International Tea Expo kicked off on May 20 in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.

The expo, entitled "Tea and World, Share Development", was held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. About 900 tea enterprises from all over the world and more than 4,000 purchasing agents attended the event. Twenty-two provinces also sent delegation teams to attend the expo.

The expo was comprised of four exhibition areas and covered an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters. More than 10,000 kinds of tea products were displayed, and dozens of activities were held to demonstrate the achievements of the China's tea industry and promote new tea varieties, technologies and equipment.

At the exhibition area for tea brands, eight boutique brands were highly recommended. A series of online and offline promotional activities were also held, while a series of marketing and sales activities were held to deepen cooperation between traders and expand the international market for Chinese tea.

A tea-tasting event, tea cultural development forum, and other activities were also arranged to better demonstrate the unique charm of tea culture, tell stories of "China Tea" and promote its influence around the world.
