"Quite unexpected!" exclaimed Bao Shanju, the Tokyo Olympic champion and member of the national team, during the post-race interview.

It was Bao's first time competing at the Hangzhou Asian Games venue in Chun'an. "The track's curves are very long, which helps us accelerate in the second and third laps," She praised the facility, stating that the unexpected good results were inseparable from the venue's excellent facilities.

Regarding the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games, Bao mentioned that the Chinese women's team's biggest advantage in the event is the team sprint, where they have a strong chance of taking gold. Similarly, she hopes to achieve breakthroughs and deliver excellent performances in the Keirin and individual sprint events.
