Over 1,000 Chinese and foreign children serving as ambassadors of cultural exchange, celebrated Children's Day together in Hangzhou, capital of East china's Zhejiang province, and Beijing on June 1, and welcomed the upcoming Asian Games.

The event, jointly organized by the Organizing Committee of the Hangzhou Asian Games and the Center for International Cultural Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, included a cultural performance and an Asian-Games-themed concert entitled "Heart-to-Heart, @Future". It aimed to promote the spirit of the Asian Games, share China's stories and make China's voices heard, and promote China as being trustworthy and respectable.

The event was held in Hangzhou and Beijing, with the two cities working together to pass on the Asian Games torch. In Hangzhou, the concert was held with students from different countries acting as co-presenters, delivering a spectacular show. The young ambassadors showcased the diverse world culture, fostering a cultural exchange bridge among Chinese and foreign young students.

The highlight of the event was the performance by the Mongolian children's choir and the South Korean children's chorus during the concert in Beijing. Students from Shilou Middle School in Panyu district of Guangzhou in South China's Guangdong province performed a dance entitled Young Lions Speak. Students from a school in Hangzhou performed an Asian-Games-themed song, inviting people to come to Hangzhou and witness the Asian Games.
