Dongpo Pork, or Dongpo Meat, is a famous Hangzhou dish that caters to all types of tastes and appetites. The pork is cut into two halves – one of fatty meat and one lean – where it's fried and cooked in a pan with various seasonings and a juicy sauce. It tastes oily rather than greasy. That's why many Chinese people love this dish. What's more, the dish is named after a famous Chinese poet, Su Dongpo, from the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127).
