The early 2025 opening Mandarin Oriental Hangzhou will be a part of the Westlake 66 mixed-use commercial and luxury retail complex, which is owned and being developed by Hang Lung Properties.

The development is expected to become a leading attraction in the city, located close to West Lake, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China's most popular leisure destinations, with easy access to the city's principal business hubs, Binjiang district and Qianjiang New City.

The five-star property will house 194 guest rooms and suites, along with four restaurants and bars, a meeting and event space and wellness facilities including an extensive spa, fitness center and indoor pool. KPF Architects is behind the hotel design.

Hangzhou is a leading center of tourism, culture, science and education in the province of Zhejiang, and is undergoing significant expansion and rejuvenation.
