Environmentally-friendly and well-equipped, the Hangzhou Asian Games Village's Fitness Center will meet the diverse training needs of athletes when Hangzhou, the capital of East China's Zhejiang province, holds the Asian Games next month, local media reported.

With its clean, high-quality facilities and multiple specialized training areas, the fitness center covers an area of approximately 8,000 square meters and has been designed to provide the best possible training experience for athletes.

According to Sun Jiaqun, the supervisor of the gymnasium, careful consideration and preparations have been made in terms of the environment, equipment and appointment system.

The gymnasium not only offers comprehensive training facilities, but also incorporates smart, energy-efficient, and environmentally-friendly features.

Many of the strength training machines installed in the gymnasium are equipped with high-definition LED screens that display exercise movements and muscle training information.

Users can view real-time data including workout progress, weight selection, repetition frequency, sets completed, and calorie consumption. This interactive feature assists athletes in better achieving their training goals.

The treadmill is also equipped with a large 32-inch touch screen that provides immersive running scenarios, allowing athletes to choose running scenes and modes according to their preferences, making aerobic training more enjoyable.

Moreover, the gymnasium utilizes self-powered systems for its exercise bikes, elliptical machines, stair climbers, and rowing machines.

To ensure the efficient and fair use of the gymnasium, there are three reservation methods available: on-site reservation, telephone reservation and online reservation.

With a capacity of about 350 athletes simultaneously, the gymnasium has also hired fitness coaches specializing in nutrition management, physical recovery, fatigue management, and sports psychology, ensuring athletes receive comprehensive and scientific guidance.
