The government of Xiaoshan district in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, together with H3C Group, inked a partnership to jointly upgrade Turing Town, local media outlets reported.

The government and the private sector have laid out a comprehensive plan to transform Turing Town, located in Xiaoshan district, into a nationally-renowned hub for the development of artificial intelligence in the next five years.

The initiative aims to position the town as a leader in the artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) industry, a nexus for industry concentration, and an epicenter for nurturing top-tier talent.

Turing Town will leverage the expertise of H3C Group to establish an industrial cluster of core AI technologies and an AIGC innovation center.

By fostering a center for talent aggregation and constructing an AI-related technology and achievement experiential center, Turing Town seeks to secure a position as the most influential AI industrial cluster in the nation over the course of five years.

The collaboration is part of efforts to propel China's AI sector to greater heights, combining cutting-edge technology, strategic partnerships, and concerted efforts in fostering a rich ecosystem of innovation, knowledge exchange, and economic growth.
