The Hangzhou Asian Games recently introduced an online platform that leverages augmented reality technology to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Accessible through the SmartHangzhou2022 applet within the Alipay app, the AR service platform offers an array of features designed to captivate and inform users. For starters, visitors can utilize the platform to access venue navigation services, ensuring they find their way seamlessly through the various event locations.

One of the platform's highlights is the spectacular 19th Asian Games mascot welcoming show, which users can enjoy from the comfort of their devices.

Additionally, the AR service platform invites users to step into a virtual realm where they can interact with the mascots. Five designated countdown locations across Hangzhou have been selected for the unique experience, including the Hubin Pedestrian Street, the East Canal Square of Gongchen Bridge, the City Balcony at Qianjiang New City, Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park, and Hangzhou Youth & Children Center.
