The Hangzhou Asian Games Venue Exhibition opened on the first floor of Hangzhou West Railway Station on Sept 7, exploring the new technology, design, materials, and equipment used in the venues.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge.

"Asian Games venues are not just arenas; they also represent the cities in which they're located," said an official from the Hangzhou Urban Construction Archives.

In early June, a special exhibition titled Seeing a Different Hangzhou Asian Games from the Four 'News' was held at the Hangzhou Urban Construction Exhibition Hall, receiving a positive response from the public.

The current collaboration with the Hangzhou West Railway Station aims to allow even more people to see the technology and innovations behind the venues.

For example, the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Aquatic Arena, known for its massive water consumption with a storage capacity of over 10,000 tons, has found innovative ways to conserve water. The exhibition reveals that a 24-hour water circulation system allows the pool water to remain clean and clear for an extended period without the need for frequent refills.

Furthermore, visitors can learn how technologies like the dynamic rotating roof of the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center and the "aerial ribbon" design of the Huanglong Sports Center Complex were realized. The exhibition provides insights into the ingenious engineering solutions and designs that make the venues stand out.
