Hangzhou held a preparatory meeting for the 17th Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industry Expo on Oct 16, summarizing the preparatory work to date and outlining the tasks for the next phase.

Since its inception in 2007, the expo has been held 16 times, becoming one of the most anticipated cultural and creative events each year. It is also a hallmark of Hangzhou's urban culture.

This year, the expo will combine both offline and online formats in late November, with the main offline venue being located at the Baima Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center. A branch venue will be established at the Hangzhou China Animation Museum for the first time.

Moreover, more than 60 countries and regions are expected to participate this year, featuring nearly 200 international brands, and the international exhibition area will exceed 50 percent of the total display area for the first time in history. Currently, various preparations, including investment solicitation, exhibition arrangements, forums, and promotional activities, are progressing smoothly.
