Inaugural virtual sports expo blends reality and intelligence

The inaugural Virtual (Electronic) Sports Expo kicked off at the Hangzhou branch of China Qi-Yuan on Nov 6.
The event marked the debut of a virtual (electronic) sports competition featuring 16 different disciplines, including electronic football, electronic basketball, virtual tennis, virtual racing, and virtual drones. The competitions provided audiences with an immersive experience of interactive digitized sports.
Meanwhile, an intellectual sports competition showcased 17 events, including Go, Chinese chess, international chess, bridge, e-sports, programming, and modeling.
The Intellectual Sports Expo, which was held on the sidelines, hosted several exciting events, such as the 11th China Hangzhou (International) Intellectual Culture Summit, National Amateur Chess Championship, Children's Go Open, Fields Mathematical Modeling Competition, and National Science and Technology Festival for Primary and Secondary School Students.
The expo vividly presented the essence and breadth of virtual sports to the public. Whether professional athletes or amateur enthusiasts, everyone had the chance to appreciate the splendor of the cultural and sporting event.
