As autumn transitions to early winter, the ancient ginkgo tree in front of the hanging temple at Daciyan Scenic Area in Jiande city, Hangzhou are at their most beautiful.

The tree's golden leaves blanket the ground, enticing numerous visitors to ascend the steps, traverse the cliff-side corridors, and walk the glass walkways for an immersive experience of the autumn wonders of Daciyan.

The ancient ginkgo tree stands at a height of 39.5 meters, boasts a trunk diameter of 1.3 m, and is more than 720 years old, earning it a place among the Top 10 Most Beautiful Ancient Trees in Hangzhou.

In recent years, the Daciyan Scenic Area has been celebrating the annual ginkgo festival, which centers around the iconic ginkgo trees. The festival, held during late autumn and early winter, allows visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the mountainous countryside and fuels the development of local rural tourism.
