The Women's Volleyball Club World Championship is set to kick off at the Huanglong Sports Center Gymnasium in Hangzhou on Dec 13. In the days leading up to the tournament, participating teams are gradually arriving in the city.

The first team to touch down in Hangzhou was Turkey's VakifBank Women's Volleyball Team, arriving at Zhejiang Hotel on Dec 8 at 22:00. The team received a warm welcome from various quarters.

"We are delighted to be back in China for the Club World Championship. There are many strong opponents in this competition, and we arrived first to adapt to the playing environment earlier and be well-prepared to compete for victory," said Gabi, the captain of VakifBank Women's Volleyball Team.

The opening match of the championship is scheduled for 14:00 on Dec 13. The teams in action will be VakifBank Women's Volleyball Team and Vietnam Sports Center 1 Women's Volleyball Team from Group B. The appearance of the reigning world champions promises a visual feast for fans. Later that evening, the Tianjin Bohai Bank Women's Volleyball Team from Group A will make their debut against Minas Women's Volleyball Team from Brazil.
