Tros Resonance, the large-scale sci-fi robot, made its debut in Gongshu district, Hangzhou on Dec 24, drawing the attention of many residents.

Tros, named after the founder of the ancient Greek kingdom of Troy in mythology, is a robot seated with a mirror in hand, created as a "ware" in the realm of ancient tales.

Positioned in the square, the interactive art installation aims to establish a connection between the artwork and the audience: Tros sits facing the real world, using the mirror in its hand to open a dialogue between humans and artificial intelligence for the viewers.

Within and beyond the mirror is a series of reflections encompassing illusions, wakefulness, reality, and dreams, extending towards an imperceptible, boundless world. Perhaps, it signifies the cognitive realm of a new dimension opening up for humanity through the development of AI.
