On Sunday and Monday, Floating Mirror 2024 New Year Art Exhibition: Shining Moment illuminated the skies of West Lake in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province by projecting amazing artworks on a colossal screen at a junction of Hangzhou's core commercial road and the 5A-level scenic area of the West Lake.

The exhibition will continue to run from the New Year to the Spring Festival, which falls on February 10-17 in 2024.

The exhibition presents a special project, Warp Speed Engine, by the Institute of Media Interaction at the Innovation Design School of the China Academy of Art, and dazzling works by four renowned artists, including digital artist Bu Hua.

In the exhibition, Bu contributes the digital animation Reunion, conveying the beauty of life with extreme romantic aesthetics. It expresses moments of awakening in female life, reconnecting with one's true self and entering a beautiful world created by oneself. This symbolic space represents a spiritual and soulful realm, a coastline of flowers and light, a cosmic garden where women can achieve spiritual awakening and find belonging in their lives.

Born into an artistic family, Bu has developed a refined and iconic style which has made her a prominent figure in China's digital animation field. Her works have been featured at venues such as the White Rabbit Gallery in Australia, the Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale in Japan, and the Busan Biennale in South Korea.
