Hangzhou Eye episode 9: Find the key to how Grandma's Home beat the coronavirus epidemic with a clay pot duck dish
Although the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 during the Chinese Spring Festival completely overshadowed the catering industry, a restaurant in Hangzhou, named the Clay Pot Duck Restaurant -- a subsidiary of the renowned culinary franchise Grandma's Home -- nonetheless saw a surge in orders for food every day.
Founder Gu Guoping attributed the success to the restaurant's clay pot duck dish which appeals to "the childhood memories of Hangzhou local residents". Check out the video to find out more.
