The Northern City Landscape Avenue, which is located in the central area of the Grand Canal New City in Gongshu district, Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, recently opened its first section to the public, stretching from Lishui Road to Gongkang Road.
As a landmark cultural project of Gongshu district this year, the avenue strings together the industrial remains of the original Hangzhou Oil Refinery Plant and Metro Line 4's Ping'anqiao Station, providing a new way for local residents to experience Hangzhou's industrial history and culture, meet their transportation needs, relax, and do some shopping.
