Paralympics champions inspire Hangzhou students

Two Paralympic gold medalists were invited to Hangzhou Red Scarf School on Sept 3.
Tan Yujiao, the weight-lifting champion of the 2016 Rio Paralympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, and Jiang Yuyan, the swimming champion of the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, spoke about their journeys toward becoming world champions.
Hangzhou native Tan said that she has already started preparations for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

She expressed hope that she would win a gold medal at next year's Hangzhou Asian Games.
Jiang shared with the pupils how she became involved with swimming and how she overcame the difficulties on the way to becoming a world-class swimmer.
The activity was part of the event series hailing the Asian Games, aiming to inspire pupils with Olympic spirit.
