In 2021, the per capita income of Xiajiang village reached 46,959 yuan ($6,522.6), exceeding the average per capita disposable income of rural residents in Hangzhou and equaling 14 times that of local residents in 2003. Moreover, the village's tourism income climbed to 71.46 million yuan in 2021, while its collective income reached 19.569 million yuan.

"From becoming well-off to seeking common prosperity, we are grateful for the efforts of the Party and are going ahead in a steady and sure manner," Jiang said.
