Official showcases aesthetics of Hangzhou Asian Games

The outfit worn by Mao Genhong, vice-secretary general of the Hangzhou Asian Games organizing committee, impressed spectators as he walked along the isle set for bureau heads at the third session of the 14th Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress on Feb 19.
The badge he wore on the collar of his business suit featured the "Tidal Bore" emblem of the Hangzhou Asian Games, which includes elements of a fan, the Qiantang River, tidal bores, the sports track, the internet, and a sun pattern which indicates the Olympic Council of Asia.
His tie also featured the Qiantang River tidal bores and the track.
Mao answered several questions on the Hangzhou Asian Games at during the session.
He said that construction on all the competition and training venues of the Games has been completed and they have opened to the public. A total of 23 test competitions have been held. The total revenue from market development agreements reached 4.4 billion yuan ($638 million), a record high for the Asian Games.
