Hangzhou Party secretary meets with Asian Paralympic Committee president

Liu Jie, Party secretary of Hangzhou, met with Majid Rashed, president of the Asian Paralympic Committee, on March 29, local media outlets reported.
Liu expressed his gratitude to the APC for their care and support in the preparation of the Hangzhou Asian Para Games. He expressed hope that the committee will continue to play to its strengths, provide valuable insights and work with Hangzhou to organize a wonderful, unforgettable and successful Games.
Rashed praised Hangzhou's preparation work and said that the city has beautiful scenery and a unique charm. He said he believed that organizing the Games could encourage more people with disabilities to participate in sports, promote health, and create an inclusive social environment.
The meeting between Liu and Rashed highlighted the importance of promoting disabled sports and inclusivity in society.
