Loong Air, the official airline passenger service partner for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022, announced on May 10 that it will launch the first wave of "Asian Games flights" to better serve and promote the Asian Games.
These flights will operate from Hangzhou to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Harbin, Changsha, Sanya, Urumqi, and Hong Kong, increasing flight frequency and optimizing flight schedules, all while enhancing overall service quality.
The initial group of 10 routes for the Asian Games flights will be operated with Asian-Games-themed livery aircraft and brand-new Airbus A321 aircraft. Furthermore, the flights will be fueled with sustainable aviation fuel, reducing carbon emissions by 80 percent, in line with the call for a "green" Asian Games.
In terms of services, the flights have undergone comprehensive upgrades and will have priority access to aerobridges, providing a more comfortable and convenient boarding and disembarking experience. Passengers departing from Hangzhou can check-in at the dedicated counters on F Island in Terminal 3 of Hangzhou International Airport.
The airlines have also incorporated many "Asian Games features" into their service details. For instance, passengers choosing to fly on these flights will have the opportunity to participate in various lucky draws, with prizes including tickets to the opening and closing ceremonies of the Asian Games and popular events.
