The Silk Road Week has been held in Hangzhou for three consecutive years and is a long-term annual international cultural exchange event. The theme of the 2023 Silk Road Week is "The Silk Roads: Long Roads, Mutual Goals".
In addition to the exhibition in Hangzhou, the "Beyond History and Materiality: Selected Chinese Silk Art Exhibition" will be launched in Budapest, capital of Hungary, in October this year.
During this Silk Road Week, a series of exhibitions, academic seminars, Silk Road study tours, and Silk Road cultural activities in schools will also be held.
