As Aug 24 marks the 30-day countdown to the Hangzhou Asian Games, the design of the event's victory ceremony awards supplies, namely the bouquet, award tray, and podium, were announced on the day.

The victory ceremony bouquet is named "Fruits of Triumph" and composed of flowers and a vase. It symbolizes the indomitable spirit of Asian athletes who overcome obstacles and never give up.

The flowers include rice ears and lotus seedpods, which represent abundance and achievements, as well as Chinese rose, phalaenopsis, Longjing tea (a Hangzhou specialty) branch, and osmanthus branches, showcasing Hangzhou's unique cultural significance and urban charm.

The vase is a major innovation that inspired by the imperial vase of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). It was crafted from using Dongyang wood carving techniques, a national intangible cultural heritage. The undulating water patterns at the neck of the vase capture the rhythm of Zhejiang's landscape. The mascot-shaped vase neck celebrates victory. Moreover, the vase can be kept as a permanent keepsake for the winning athletes.

The design of the medal tray draws inspiration from the rippling surface of West Lake under a gentle breeze. Combined with the imagery of flowing ribbons, it presents a sleek and streamlined appearance. The design exudes the simplicity of the lakes and mountains, showcasing the expansive and refined features of the region.

The exterior of the award podium adopts the theme color of the Games, conveying the concepts of vitality and innovation. The surface features the color of white in traditional ink paintings, reflecting the spirit of unity and harmony among Asian countries, highlighting cooperation and mutual benefit.
