Hangzhou unveiled the Asian Flower Theme Park, a colossal "garden of blossoms", showcasing over 200 varieties of flowers.
Located at the entrance of Pinglan Road, the park encompasses an area of about 28,000 square meters, intertwining the cultural essence of East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, and West Asia into distinct and vibrant floral landscapes.
The park aims to offer Hangzhou residents a tranquil and enchanting retreat, allowing them to unwind and immerse themselves in nature's beauty.
The garden, which was built in preparation for the Asian Games, will continue to be available to the public after the Games have concluded.
So, what are the highlights of the park?
The Gigantic Pinecone sculpture takes visitors on a journey through the "Story of Seeds". The Friendship Flower Corridor showcases the characteristics of Asian regions and paints a picture of urban romance. The Asian Flower Carpet is a colorful and majestic landscape painting brought to life with a myriad of flowers. In the evening, the park comes alive through a combination of starlight and environmentally-friendly light sources.
