Hangzhou: From the past into the future | The city where tranquility and vitality coexist
Tang Xiaofang goes for a morning run four times a week, usually at 6 a.m. and sometimes even earlier. Like everyone else living in Hangzhou, she loves to connect with the natural world, to embrace the mountains and rivers that surround her. Tang and her friends have designed many running routes around West Lake, such as the "Grand Rose of Hangzhou" and the "Double Roses." The scope for creativity is boundless and there's the potential to plan routes longer than 100 kilometers.
