Taking advantage of the clear weather in recent days, workers on "ecological floating islands" in Qiandaohu town, Chun'an county, Hangzhou, were spotted cultivating water celery suitable for winter growth.

The floating islands there, covering an area of more than 20 mu (1.3 hectares), have become a popular place among local farmers to grow plants. The water celery is suitable for growing in winter, with well-developed roots, easy maintenance, and high efficiency in nitrogen and phosphorus removal, further improving the water quality of Qiandao Lake and aligning with local ecological principles.
