The "Zhejiang Returnees" app recently expanded its coverage throughout Hangzhou, aiming to better serve overseas returnees through comprehensive digital applications.
Focusing on the core needs of students studying abroad, the app offers study abroad services, overseas services, and return services for students studying abroad.
For instance, by logging into the mobile WeChat applet, users can access modules for overseas physical examinations, notarization of academic credentials, employment and entrepreneurship, and academic certifications. The app also tailors content recommendations to different users, such as students studying abroad, overseas returnees, parents, and tourists.
In addition to promoting the app, Hangzhou has beefed up efforts to upgrade services for overseas returnees. These efforts involve various departments, including the municipal talent office, education bureau, human resources and social security bureau, and science and technology bureau.
In the future, there will be further efforts to integrate resources, focusing on providing students with study guides, pre-departure classrooms, and case sharing, and help returned overseas students find jobs and investment opportunities.
