During a recent event at the Hubin Garden Community in Beigan sub-district, Xiaoshan district, a group of community residents formed a team, wearing waste sorting shirts, and staged a unique catwalk to promote the new trend of waste sorting among residents.

In response to the nationwide enthusiasm for volunteer waste sorting activities, Xiaoshan established the "Classification Artisan" brand at the beginning of this year, having witnessed a series of activities being carried out to upgrade facilities, promote sorting experiences, conduct household sorting campaigns, provide bin-side supervision, and implement special inspections on waste sorting.

Xiaoshan has set up a three-tier waste sorting volunteer team system, with nearly 70,000 volunteers covering various villages and communities. The volunteers actively engage residents in waste sorting, gradually fostering a positive atmosphere for everyone to participate in waste classification.

Moving forward, Xiaoshan will further enhance its multi-level collaborative waste classification system, continue to leverage the role of volunteers in waste sorting, and refine successful waste sorting volunteer service projects to strengthen the "Classification Artisan" brand.
