Hangzhou Asian Games Museum to open to public on April 3

Hangzhou's Asian Games Museum, located beneath the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, is set to open to the public on April 3.

The museum showcases the city's experiences bidding for, preparing for, and hosting the Asian Games, serving as a legacy of the event and a testament to Hangzhou's contributions to Asian sports.

To ensure a smooth visitor experience, the museum has introduced a reservation service via a WeChat mini-program:

1. Follow the official WeChat account "19th Hangzhou Asian Games" and access the reservation mini-program in the account's "Features" section.

2. Select the desired date and time slot for the visit. The system will display available time slots for reservation (Note: The system only shows slots available within seven days.).

3. Fill in your personal information, select the number of visitors, and submit the application.

4. On the day of the visit, present the reservation QR code at the entrance for scanning.

Covering an area of 5,400 square meters, the museum is divided into three main sections: Asian Games and Hangzhou, Asian Games and Asia, and Asian Games and the Future. The main hall showcases items related to the bidding process, torches, medals, mascots from previous Asian Games, items signed by athletes, and props from the opening ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Games.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00-17:00 (last entry at 16:00); Closed on Mondays, except for statutory holidays.

Public Transportation: Visitors can take Metro Line 6 or Line 7 to the Olympic Sports Center Station (Exit C), then follow the directions to Gate 3 of the Sports Center.
