The Hangzhou Asian Games Museum opened on April 3 and received many visitors despite it being a workday.

Located on the basement level of the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, the museum showcases items and information related to Hangzhou's bidding for, organizing, and hosting of the Asian Games. It is a celebration of the Games and a valuable witness to Hangzhou's contributions to sports in Asia.

It has an exhibition area of 5,400 square meters and comprises three main sections: Asian Games and Hangzhou, Asian Games and Asia, and Asian Games and the Future. Each section vividly recalls Hangzhou's pursuit of the Games and traces the history of the Games over the past century.

At the site, visitors can try igniting the main torch tower of the Hangzhou Asian Games. By placing their hands on the ignition platform, the model of the tower ignites and begins to rotate. The device is a scaled-down version of the real torch tower, using identical materials.

Furthermore, the museum utilizes cutting-edge technologies to provide visitors with an immersive experience and a sense of immersion. People can enjoy interactive activities such as basketball, shooting, skiing, and golf, as well as take esports talent tests.

During the initial phase of operation, the museum is restricting daily visits to 500 people, with 250 people allowed in the morning and afternoon, respectively. Those interested can make reservations through the official Hangzhou Asian Games WeChat account's mini-program.
