As the solar term of Start of Summer arrives, the weather is gradually getting warmer, and the anime at the Hangzhou Safari Park are getting ready.
The alpacas received some special love from their keepers: a haircut. Keepers cleared a space behind their enclosure and brought in professional "barbers" to give the alpacas a stylish makeover.
African elephants love the hot weather in Hangzhou. Playing in the water has become their favorite way to cool down, even when there's a sudden downpour, the elephants still splash around happily in the pool.

Giant pandas are sleeping longer as well. If visitors don't arrive early enough to see Lili and Banban having breakfast, they might only catch a glimpse of the two sleeping soundly.
The giant pandas have developed some interesting eating habits: eating lying down, eating while lying on their stomachs, eating while leaning against something... they simply refuse to sit properly. For them, summer is a time to eat bamboo and then doze off.
