Linping Grand Theater in Hangzhou kicked off its 5th anniversary celebration on May 10, with the original English musical Love Never Dies, a sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, opening that night.

The show was created by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the father of musicals, and features 29 original cast members, 15 international musicians providing live accompaniment, and over 30 songs weaving the melody of eternal love.

From May 10 to 12, the spectacle will grace the stage of the theater with five consecutive shows.

Prior to the performance, the theater organized a series of activities, including an afternoon tea, cast meet-and-greets, art promotions in schools, and guided tours around Hangzhou.

In the afternoon, through two exciting meet-and-greet sessions, Love Never Dies was promoted to the public. Moreover, the cast visited schools, where they interacted with students.

During the meet-and-greet in the theater lobby, the cast shared behind-the-scenes stories with the audience. Under the guidance of drama teachers, they also experienced the charm of Kunqu Opera, appreciating the unique allure of traditional Chinese opera culture.

2024 marks the 5th anniversary of the theater's establishment. Leveraging the high-quality resources of Poly Group and its influential position, the theater continues to empower the city with culture.
