The Hangzhou Fire Department is set to debut a new series of blind box toys at the upcoming China International Animation Festival.

The collectibles feature updated and new animated characters designed to promote fire safety.

Originally introduced in 2007, the characters Hanghang, Zhouzhou, Xiaoxiao, and Fangfang represented various firefighting equipment. This year, the character Fangfang has been revamped and joined by six new figures, each representing different firefighting and rescue roles: fire suppression, fire investigation, communication support, inspection, water rescue, and emergency rescue.

The unique blind boxes will debut at the festival, which will be held from May 29 to June 2, continuing the tradition of using animation to enhance fire safety awareness.
