A parade was held on a lakeside pedestrian street in Hangzhou as a prelude to the 20th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival (CICAF) which will take place in the city from May 29 to June 2.

The CICAF is expected to attract thousands of visitors from home and abroad. The face-to-face gathering for the two-dimensioners will see many cosplayers transforming themselves into anime characters, computer game characters, among others.
