Hangzhou held a special concert at the Winland Center on Sept 8 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia.
The event, with the tagline "Malaysia Asia, Where Charm Lies", also marked the closing of the 7th Hangzhou International Day's Cultural and Food Festival.
The concert featured acclaimed Malaysian-Chinese pianist Claudia Yang, who performed a mix of Malaysian songs and classic pieces like Jasmine Flower and Rhapsody in Blue. The Zhejiang Conservatory's string quartet also delighted the audience with traditional Chinese music, highlighting the deep cultural connection between the two nations.
