Oman Lens-1, Oman's first intelligent computing satellite, transmitted its first panoramic image back to Earth on Nov 13. This achievement comes just days after the satellite's launch into orbit two days ago, with all telemetry data indicating stable operation.
Oman Lens-1 marks a milestone as the first satellite delivered to an overseas client by a private Chinese commercial aerospace company. Designed for distributed space computing applications, it will contribute to the development of a global space computing network.

The satellite's onboard AI processing platform, known as the "Space Brain," was developed by Star Vision, a private company based in Hangzhou's Cloud Town in Xihu district. Oman Lens-1 is expected to provide vital services for Oman, including urban planning, forest monitoring, and disaster response.
As commercial aerospace emerges as a key driver of China's economic growth, Oman Lens-1 symbolizes the growing international reach and technological prowess of the nation's private space industry.
