Hangzhou projects shine at World Internet Conference with prestigious awards

The 2024 World Internet Conference Awards for Pioneering Science and Technology were announced in Wuzhen on Nov 20, recognizing 20 globally significant projects in fields like 6G, AI, big data, and advanced chips. Two Hangzhou-based projects received top honors.
Ant Group's project on innovations and applications of cognitive decision-making intelligence was recognized for improving decision-making precision and reliability by leveraging AI models, knowledge graphs, and optimization technologies.
The other awardee was Alibaba Cloud's "AI-Oriented Cloud Computing Infrastructure", a groundbreaking full-stack architecture supporting AI development which has become foundational for 80 percent of Chinese tech firms.
Another Hangzhou-based tech giant, Das-security, had its security intelligence system being included in the conference's Showcase of Leading Scientific Achievements, marking its contribution to zero-incident security at major global events like the Chengdu Universiade and Hangzhou Asian Games.
These accolades underscore Hangzhou's pivotal role in global internet innovation and its thriving technology ecosystem.
