Hangzhou launched its first air terminal, located atop the Shimao Riverfront Wisdom Towers in Binjiang district, on Dec 15.
The launch was marked by a green Bell 505 helicopter flying from neighboring Shaoxing's Dayu Mausoleum Square to the terminal.
The new air terminal offers passengers a seamless travel experience with ticketing, security checks, and boarding all available in one location, bringing "doorstep" convenience to urban mobility.

Operated by GA Direct Aviation, the service connects key areas such as Xiaoshan district's Xianghu Lake, Shangcheng district's Qianjiang New City, Yuhang district's Future Sci-Tech City, Lin'an district's Jincheng subdistrict, and Shaoxing's Dayu Mausoleum Square. Passengers can now enjoy the dual benefits of efficient travel and breathtaking aerial views of the city.
