Hangzhou's State tax bureau has introduced the Belt and Road 12366 Multilingual Tax Consultation Service Station – offering professional tax services in 14 languages.
The initiative aims to enhance the international business environment and attract global talent to Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.
Hangzhou's reputation as a hub for international talent is said to be continuing to grow. The city has ranked as the third most attractive Chinese city for expatriates for 14 consecutive years, following Beijing and Shanghai.
Beyond language support, the station serves as a comprehensive platform for cross-border businesses.

It assists enterprises in accessing domestic and international tax regulations, optimizing cross-border e-commerce operations and in navigating the complexities of global markets.
The city has also introduced innovative measures to improve tax-related services. The dual agreements policy simplifies international tax and social security agreements.
The "AI Hangzhou" app will soon feature a "Social Security Payments" section for streamlined tax services for foreign residents.
For real-time tax refunds, the first intelligent terminal for departure tax refunds has been installed at Hangzhou International Airport, enabling faster processing for international travelers.
