As Laba Festival arrived on Jan 7, animals at Hangzhou Safari Park were treated to their much-anticipated annual "Laba feast", thoughtfully prepared by their caregivers.
Early in the morning, keepers tailored meals for different animals, balancing nutrition and presentation to create a festive and heartwarming experience.
The giant panda Banban enjoyed a basket filled with its favorite fruits, vegetables, steamed buns, and bamboo shoots, all arranged on its special garden table. Banban eagerly devoured the treats.

The celebrations brought joy to both the animals and visitors, capturing the festive spirit of Laba in a unique way.
