Hangzhou hosted a city promotion event and 2024 year-end reception banquet on Jan 10, inviting over 200 international guests, including foreign investors, business leaders, and representatives from Hong Kong and Macao.
Mayor Yao Gaoyuan highlighted Hangzhou as a historic cultural hub, innovative city, and eco-civilization model. He emphasized unprecedented opportunities and strong support for industries, including policies for the "Five Industrial Ecosystems" and high-quality service measures.

Bernt Gramann, general manager of Elektrisola Hangzhou Co, a subsidiary of the Germany-based manufacturer, praised the city's pro-business environment, emphasizing its efficient services and innovation-friendly policies that foster growth.
The "Hangzhou International Conference Foreigner Portal" was launched at the event, providing streamlined digital services for international events. Additionally, the "Hangzhou Intercontinental Halls" and "Foreign Experts' Book House" were unveiled, boosting Hangzhou's role as an open and globally connected city.
