At the opening of the Third Session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference or CPPCC on Jan 13, Zhou Suhong, a CPPCC member and secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Youth League Committee, highlighted initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of Zhejiang's young folks while driving their mutual development.
Zhou shared her opinion on how Zhejiang has won over its young population: Over 1,000 courses, including music, dance and fitness, have been launched in night schools, offering vibrant after-work learning opportunities.
On the personal front, to address dating challenges, the "Qinqinglian" platform now boasts over 530,000 registered users, providing trusted matchmaking services.
Additionally, the "Zhejiang Youth Love Sports" program encourages physical activity, inspiring youth to step offline, step onto the field and step closer to nature.
"No more late-night snacks; night school is the new trend," Zhou declared – emphasizing the intertwined growth of youth and the province.
"We aim to make Zhejiang more youth-friendly and supportive, while empowering young people to be more responsible and impactful," she added.
