Zhejiang police team crowned champions of UAE SWAT Challenge

The China Police Team B, or the SWAT team – from East China's Zhejiang province – secured the championship title in the recent sixth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge.
The event was hosted by Dubai Police on Feb 5 and the triumphant team finished at the top of the overall leaderboard with 480 points.
Renowned as the "World Cup" of global special forces, the competition featured five major events – the assault challenge, obstacle course, officer rescue, tower event and tactical event.
During the contest, each day saw a different challenge, culminating in an overall ranking based on performances across the five categories.

The challenges tested the physical fitness, mental resilience, tactical skills, proficiency and teamwork of special forces from various countries, presenting a formidable test of their abilities.
The Zhejiang SWAT team fielded a squad of nine elite officers hailing from police departments in cities of Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing and Lishui.
The team, with members ranging from 25 to 33 years old, included four first-time participants in international competitions, forming a young and dynamic unit assembled across different agencies.
During the five days of intense competition, the Zhejiang team were said to showcase exceptional skills, seamless coordination and unwavering determination – securing outstanding results across all five disciplines.
