Chinese maker of 3D design software Manycore Tech Inc – based in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province – has filed for an IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with investment services firms JPMorgan and CCB International as joint sponsors, local media outlets reported.

Manycore is the maker of Coohom software, the online information and design platform that offers information and reviews on businesses related to home decoration and furnishing.

If successful, Manycore says it will become the world's first listed space intelligence company, reinforcing China's AI and graphics computing leadership.

Founded in 2011, Manycore specializes in AI-driven space intelligence, powering Coohom, said to be the world's largest spatial design platform with 86.3 million monthly active users and a 22.2-percent market share in China. Its proprietary CAD model and real-time rendering engine streamline industrial design-to-production processes.

In 2023, the company's revenue hit 553 million yuan ($76 million), with a gross margin of 80.4 percent.

Its next generation SpatialVerse platform supports AI, robotics and AR/VR with virtual simulations that are said to bridge digital designs and real-world physics. Backed by a 615-member R&D team, Manycore is collaborating with robotics firms on autonomous driving and offer solutions for intelligent construction.

Hangzhou's dynamic business environment is said to have fueled Manycore's rise, attracting top talent and fostering innovation. The IPO highlights the city's ambition to be a global tech powerhouse, shaping the future of AI-driven industries.
