Hangzhou – capital of East China's Zhejiang province – held a special jobs fair for people with disabilities on Feb 18, as part of the 2025 Spring Breeze Action initiative.
Hosted at the city's Second Human Resources Market, the event attracted 43 companies that offered over 300 positions in sectors like catering, administration and software development – resulting in more than 500 preliminary employment agreements.
To further support employment opportunities, an online jobs fair will run for a month on the China Disabled Employment and Entrepreneurship Network Service Platform.
The event also featured policy briefings on disability-inclusive hiring incentives and one-on-one career counseling to assist job seekers.
