Spring has arrived in Hangzhou city – capital of East China's Zhejiang province – bringing with it the much-anticipated 2025 Taiziwan Tulip Festival, running from March 7 to April 13.

Currently, tulip bloom coverage there has reached 20 percent, with flowers scattered around landmarks such as the Hand-in-Hand Statue, the Yingbin Pavilion, Xiaoyao Slope and Yulu Pond.

This year's festival features 400,000 tulips and other vibrant blooms, spreading out across 8,000 square meters.

The highlight remains the Xiaoyao Slope, on the banks of West Lake, which is displaying a swirling design of colorful tulips that reflect the serenity of the water body at night. A new addition is the floating tulip islands on Yulu Pond, arranged in the shape of the Big Dipper constellation.

For those eager to visit, the park requires reservations with a viewing time, via official platforms. Secure your spot and embrace the floral spectacle of the season!
