With "China Travel" becoming an international buzzword, an increasing number of foreign online influencers are flocking to China, sharing their firsthand experiences and observations of the country.

In line with this trend, East China's Zhejiang province has worked to explore the enormous potential of the inbound tourism market by leveraging the extensive influence of these internet celebrities.

"For many South Koreans, Hangzhou, the provincial capital, represents the elegant and poetic side of China. However, I feel that Hangzhou, despite its apparent tranquility, knows how to make everything exciting and stimulating. It's this unexpected contrast that made my experience in Hangzhou truly unforgettable!" South Korean internet celebrity Sophie Kim posted on her social media platform.

Last month, she joined a promotional event organized by Hangzhou cultural and tourism authorities, alongside travel enthusiasts from around the world. Over three days, this group of eight foreign cultural and tourism influencers explored scenic spots, visited historical sites, tasted local cuisine, and immersed themselves in Hangzhou's diverse culture and tourism activities.

At the end of last year, China further relaxed its transit visa policy, extending the stay duration for foreigners to 240 hours. This policy has accelerated the growth of the inbound tourism market in China.

"We look forward to precisely targeting tourists from Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia by leveraging core cultural and tourism resources with international influence and competitiveness to shape a massive inbound tourism market," a local official said.
